قلب ااسد مانند نسر طائر و نسر واقع آنقدر سریع می چرخد که ورم می کند. اگر قلب 1سد 16% بیشتر از سرعت فعلی می چرخید از هم گسیخته می شد! قلب ااسد همچنین درخشانترین ستاره در صورت فلکی شیر است. قلب ااسد B و C نیز وجود دارند.
نسر واقع
نسر واقع در صورت فلکی شلیاق قرار دارد. همچنین قسمتی از مثلث تابستانی متشکل از نسر واقع ، نسر طائر، و دنب است. نسر واقع آنقدر سریع به دور خود می چرخد که ورم می کند. گرچه ما آنرا از طرف قطبش مشاهده می کنیم و به نظر دایروی می رسد.
Altair
Altair is one of the three stars in the Summer Triangle. The Summer Triangle is an acute triangle, which means that all the angles are less than 90°! The other two are Vega and Deneb. Like many other stars, Altair spins very quickly, bulging at the center!
